Issue 9 - Pieter Eversten Nissan S15 200SX
We see a lot of Nissan Silvia’s about town, most of them modified in some way or another. There have been engine conversions of all sorts from the ever popular RB motors to the occasional Toyota JZ motor. This Nissan runs the latter of the two and it does so with endless amounts of aggression. Every aspect of the car spells power with its 700+ horsepower right down to the race seats and roll cage. When you see this baby at a set of lights, be sure you know what you’re getting yourself into before you give ‘the nod’. Pieter Eversteyn is a twenty-five year old mechanic from Springfield. He has his hand in the running of Defiant Motorsports, the builders of this awesome car you see on the page before you. He knows his way around a tool chest but more importantly, he knows what it takes to make his cars extra special. When it came time to give this 200SX the overhaul he went that extra mile to make this car stand out from an increasingly large crowd of high performance Nissan’s. Photos by Just Dave Photography -
